Pinewood Derby is Almost Here!
Gentleman, start your engines! That's right!
Everyone's favorite event is fast approaching. Our
annual pinewood derby will be held Sunday May 4 at Noon.
Location is still TBD, but will likely be at Canyon Rim
Elementary. Be sure to bring a picnic lunch as a family
or den and be ready to race!
Spring Family Campout
The details are not final yet, but we are planning to
have our Spring campout at O'Neil Park the weekend of
May 30 - Jun 1. We'll have a pack campfire on Saturday
night so if you cannot camp the whole weekend, be sure
to come for dinner and the campfire. We'll have skits,
songs, stories, and much more. We'll let you know the

Volunteers
Can you help us out this year? We need parents to
help with pack meetings and other events. You don't have
to do a lot and can help with just one event if that's
all you have time for. We need help with facilities...
setting up and taking down chairs and tables,
refreshments, and that sort of thing. If you have more
time available, we are always looking for help on the
pack committee. Remember when you signed your Scout's
application form and agreed to "assist pack leaders as
needed"? This is one of those "as needed" times! We will
gratefully appreciate your time and assistance. ScoutTrack
To help us keep track of our calendar, directory, and
advancement, we are now using the web-based software
provided by ScoutTrack.com. We will maintain our
official calendar there, so please check it for the most
current information. For parents, you can now track your
son's advancement and check off which requirements he
has completed. Our pack directory lists everyone's
names, phone numbers, and email addresses. Most everyone
now has access and you should have received an email
message from Nina Gradijan with your user ID and
password. If not, please contact Nina and she will get
you set up.
